Colour Management
For best results with Indigo Inkjet we recommend colour management
The best media and the best printer can be undermined by a lack of colour management.
Many paper manufacturers provide standard profiles with their paper, and while these can help photograpohers and printing professionals achieve accurate colour, there is no replacement for effective colour management, completed by the user, with their printer, ink and paper combination.
As such Indigo Inkjet reccomend the use of colour management tools including monitor calibration and printer profiling to ensure accurate colour reproduction in your prints.

Printer Profiling for all you favourite media.
Indigo Inkjet know the importance of effective colour management.
Monitor CalibrationThe first step is to ensure you have an accurate monitor to display your images on. Very often people’s issues with a final printed images stem from a monitor displaying an image inaccuratley and therefore people being dissapointed with the printed result. Monitors are often too bright, giving people a false impression of what is achievable in print. Printer profiling
For every paper type you use, you need a custom made profile. That means when you send your image to print, you can select the correct settings for your printer to use, meaning the ink will be laid down correctly and ensuring you get an accurate image.
The two leading manufacturers of colour management equipment in the world are DataColor and X-Rite.
Remote profilingIf you don’t own colour management equipment, we have teamed up with our distributor to offer a remote profiling service which gives you all the benefits of a profile for your favourite paper, but without the initial outlay of a colour management tool.
